Seeking some input here, my '05 MDX is starting to ride pretty roughly/stiff over everything. Small bumps are really translated; I don't know if it is the suspension or the tires. No accidents have affected the suspension geometry. Mechanically it drives fine, but the comfort level over the road stinks. The tires have roughly 18k miles on them and are Goodyear Integritys. Is it my shocks/suspension or the tires?

 

We have Goodyear Integrity tires on our 2004. If the tires are not rotated then the ride is a bit off, as well as tire pressure. In addition, check your alignment and front control arm bushings if you have higher mileage on your MDX.

 

id start my guessing at tire pressure. its the only thing that changes. could have been over inflated causing it to feel stiffer. play with the pressure and see where that takes you. if not then check goodyears website. you can proabably get the tires warrantied and get you some better ones. mine had some dry rotting and goodyear warrantied 3 of my tires and i got the fortera triple tread. ride really smooth and not loud at all. good luck
