Rim and Tire sizes......

Hope this is the right thread for this kind of post. If it's not, I apologize.

I'm looking to get some aftermarket rims for an '03 MDX. The OEM wheels are P235/65R17. Essentially, I wanna keep the same diameter of the OEM wheels.

If I switch to 18s, what size tires would I need to mentain the same diameter? I'm referring to the '65'(sidewall) part of course.

And what would it be for 19s?

235/60/18 = @ 29.10 height

255/50/19 = @ 29.04 height

235/65/17 = @ 29.03 height

255/55/18 will fit nicely. They are also the OEM size for the 07-10 MDX's so they should be fairly common.

For 19" the correct size would be 255/50/19 as dannyboy mentioned.

I'm running 255/50/19 with 19 x 8.5" wheels on my 2006 and they fit perfectly.

Actually, I just replaced the stock rims with some Kruz k-4's. Which means they're 17's, duh, lol.

Got them off Craigslist, for $400. Not trying to be too flashy!

They're chrome, and they look really good on the X! They're wider than the stock, so the edge of the tire sticks out, I'd say, about a 1/2 inch out the fenders. I love that look!

1) How's the ride with 22's?
2) Do they rub at all?
3) What's your average MPG?
