A month ago, on very hot day the rear view mirror of my 02 MDX broke in its rotating joint. I called to acura dealer and got respond that it costs about $180 for parts and installation. ??? Read few internet postings on how to do it yourself...sounds very complicated. Any suggestions?? Thank you.

 

DIY. Almost all mirrors are put on/taken off the same way.

You can order them online. This place has them for ~$85 shipped.
