Hi guys. I just recently purchased a 2011 certified MDX. Love the truck but I have a few small issues.

1) the side view mirrors when I back up tilt down, but never tilt back up when I go back into drive. Any idea what may be causing this ?

2) The AM/FM radio reception is terrible. Even for relatively local stations.
My 08 TL doesn't have this issue and I even have tint on those windows. Is that just the way the MDX's are ?

I have a 2013 MDX w/tech. The radio reception totally sucks. I had the antenna replaced under warranty but that do not change a thing. Very disappointing.

 

your mirrors have bad actuators (known issue, i believe there is a TSB for this). i've had binding in mine and they were replaced under warranty (twice on the passenger side and once on the driver side). this will eventually disrupt your memory seating as they are all connected on the same circuit. it appears to be a common thing that breaks in Acuras.

as for your radio reception....not sure. i rarely if ever listen to the radio in my MDX. i listen to music via ipod.

 

We have a 2011 MDX and the radio reception is not good at all. I've read that you can get the antenna amp replaced, but the results did not seem much better.

As for the side view mirror, it sounds like the actuator is out like TLtrigirl mentioned. This should be replaced under warranty.
