I accidentally hit my boyfriend's car & he is out of town at the moment. I am trying to fix it before he gets back, but I'm not sure which part(s) to order/ how much the damage should cost if I were to take it to a body shop? Also any recommendations for affordable/quick body shops near Austin, TX?
This is the damage ...can someone please help? Thank you!
I didn't ask for an estimate, just a guesstimate. Thank you though. If anyone else sees this please help! I just need to know what part that is, recommendations for body shop in Austin, TX, and if you are able a guess as to how expensive it would be if taken to a shop (probably best answered by shop owners/ mechanics). Thank y'all!

Only a body shop will be able to tell you the cost for repair. I've never gone to a body shop that didn't offer a free estimate for repair. I would be surprised if the damage is under $2000 to repair because the front bumper and fender (possible replace and repaint). The body shop can determine if there was any damage to the HIDs, bumper/fender mounting points, suspension, and door alignment. You can take the MDX to as many body-shops you like for free estimates and go with the one with the best price and time to repair. I would only pay for the repairs myself if I didn't have insurance or had too many "accidents" and was worried about my rates going up.
We can't tell what the real damage is.
Just from the exterior it'll need a new fender and a bumper cover.
You might get away with taking the bumper cover to bumperx, but it'll be at least 250-300.
The fender is relatively cheap.. maybe a 200-400. But to have it painted will be expensive.
Best bet is to find it off a donor car or buy it prepainted with the exact paint code.
You should file a claim with either his or your insurance and just pay the deductible
I suspect there might be damage to the control arm / suspension components.
Maybe even wheel bearing damage..
Best policy is to be honest with your bf and get a shop to evaluate it..
I mean.. who the f would get upset at their MDX being damaged.. lol
No body shop here is all that affordable.. nor quick.. almost all are full rate shops doing insurance work.
If you can source the parts, best bet is to call mobile mechanic to do the swap work.
