Perhaps a New 2010 owner coming soon!
In the process of prepping to negotiate for a 2010 MDX Advance. I'm not in a huge rush considering I'm still waiting for one of two people who want to buy my 2005 TL Navi/Aspec (42k miles), to get financing/money. The fact remains I return to Acurazine yet again. (Old name was deleted a long time ago)
I see that someone had great luck at Riverside in California for something around $46500 plus TTL and another was around $48900 elsewhere. My expectation is get go under invoice due to hold back. What experience have most of you had recently on purchasing a 2010?
Does anyone regret the purchase? I can't see why given the amount of tech and what you'd have to pay to get the same features in less inspiring vehicles. (RX, etc.)

I wouldn't expect to have that type of negotiating power on a MDX. It is far from the distressed merchandise that sells below invoice. Couple this with the fact that the 2011 models are already arriving on dealers lots and there are no cash incentives on the 2010 models. Not saying it can't happen, not sure what area of the country you live in but I can tell you that you would drive yourself crazy in the New England trying to get below invoice. It's a supply and demand issue, Acura has kept the supply down and the magazine reviews have kept the demand up.

Either way I'm pretty confident I'm going that route. I just need to make sure the size won't be an issue.

I was the one that posted the info re: Riverside and the specific salesperson. I did buy the MDX Advanced for $46515. Got lots of bids from just about every dealer in SoCal. Shopped it for two rounds, asking for "best and final." Never walked into a dealership. Did it almost all by email with a bit of the phone. Was end of the month so that helped. May not be as good at the start of a new month. Should work again at the end of Sept though color choices will be limited. If you aren't picky about colors, that'd be your best time to do it. Do it the week before the last weekend of the month.

I already have one dealership that says they will 'entertain' the thought of going into their hold back. We'll see how serious they are.
I plan on doing the same you did, shop the area and let them give me their lowest offer and buy from there.
