Oil Level Indicator

Hello!!

I got an oil change and my oil level sensors replaced yesterday (when I would make right or left turns my "Oil Level" light would flash off and on) since getting the oil change and the sensors replaces, the Error has flashed 3-4x. Has anyone experienced this or have any other suggestions on what my next steps should be?

Getting an oil change doesn't necessarily mean they added the proper amount of oil. That's why we're asking you check the dipstick. Also where did you get the oil level sensors from? May be defective.

The oil level on the dipstick is at the max (excuse the lack there of terminology) They auto shop did not get it from the dealership. I believe they got it from an autoparts

Okay, so oil level looks good physically.. Probably a bad sensor then.

Use Honda OEM Sensors only for the Oil Pressure Sensor... Aftermarket ones cant give false readings which will trigger the already finicky ECU to tell you the pressure is bad..
This is common on almost every Honda & Acura I owned.. The Oil Pressure Sensors always go bad but at least they are cheap and easy to replace.

Over a 14 month period, I got that "check oil level" warning.

I looked in the service manual... after replacing the oil sensor, Acura is supposed to do some type of ECU update (it might be known some other of software adjustment name, I don't have my manual out).

After I check the oil level, I press the 3 buttons under the radio (at the same time) to reset the diagnosis.

It only happened twice and it's been a few months, since the last time I got warned.
