Its a 06 MDX. Is it normal that sometimes the RPM drops below normal operation RPM speed while in a stop and go drive? Ex: I would hit the gas to move a few feet then come to full stop but the RPM will dip to say 500 then back to say 700 and stay there while in gear but not moving. This also happens when I hit the gas a little to get moving then lift off and the RPM will dip then raise back to normal RPM for that speed. My concern is that when this happens in slow moving situations where gas is hit and let go all the time that this slight RPM dip before it stables out causes a slight forward lunge as it normals out.
