Noisy tires on 2101 MDX

I have a 2010 MDX with tech package with 35K miles on it. The tires - the original Michelin Latitude - have become extremely noisy. I had replaced 2 of the tires about 15K miles or so back because their side wall had been damaged by nails/debris. How many miles are the owners here in this forum typically getting out of these factory Michelin tires and do you face a similar very noisy tire situation with around 35-40K miles?
Thanks.
Thanks.

We have an '08 tech and had to replace the originals at ~24K, really poor wear performance. We now have Bridgestone Dueler H/L's and they are wearing much better....we're now at 38K with lots of tread left. They are noticeably quieter too, although all Honda cars have more characteristic road noise than other brands. Read any magazine comparo with Honda mfr. vs Toyota vs et al. Road noise is most always mentioned as an annoyance with Honda products, including some Acuras.

The question I see here is why are the tires noisy? Are they feathered/cupped on the edges? If the answer to that question is yes, then you need to look at rotating your tires more often to prevent it from happening. If the answer is no, then are they noisy all of the time or just on certain roads. I have found that all tires, even the most expensive, best tires will be noisy on certain roads. I am actually about ready to put some Michelin Latt's on my X and sell my Michelin LTX's that I put on last year. IMHO I think that the Lattitude will give me better MPG due to them having less rolling resistance.
Thats my .02.

We got about 56K out of the original Michelins and replaced with a second set. About 16 on them and no issues.

There's a little bit of cupping. I have not explicitly asked for tire rotation but I assume it will be done as part of regular scheduled maintenance. I know it was rotated in my most recent service. Before that rotation there was the beginning of rumbling noise from the tires and in fact after that rotation the tires have become noisier. The the dealer says they can rotate it back but the earlier rumbling noise wasn't any better. also the dealer is aging that the alignment is fine.
I know quietness isn't one of the MDX's forte but it wasn't always this noisy, it was quite alright and acceptable for about first 20-25K miles, what we are experiencing is almost unbearable.
Do you ask specifically for tire rotation in addition to what the scheduled maintenance is supposed to do?
I don't mind riding these noisy tires for another 5K and replacing them, but would like to avoid this noisy tire situation every 30K miles, is that's possible.
Thanks.

The latitudes are a shitty tire anyways, so I wouldn't worry about it. When mine wear out, I'm replacing them with Conti DWS. I've been extremely happy with those tires on our TL. They have a higher load rating than the OEM Latitudes, so they should be fine on the MDX.

Funny I came across this thread...
I literally just called the dealer asking what's up.
We have 21k on the Michelins and around 40 MPH, they make this constant low hum / whistling noise. Dealer said this isn't a common complaint.
I had them rotated as scheduled.
I am guessing it's a design flaw with the tires.
Right now I have PLENTY of tread all around. Expect these will last another 30k or so. But when they go, I am replacing with Continental DWS. Had those on my TL. AWESOME tires.
