Congrats on the purchase. How much did the luggage rack cost you? Just bought an '09 MDX yesterday myself and am looking to purchase a luggage rack and the side steps.

How are you liking it so far? Is this your first SUV? How does it feel in comparison to the TL?

I know....lots of questions. Thinking of possibly going from TSX to RDX or MDX, but nervous about the bigger size and of course mpg.

Damn I would like to buy me a new MDX but can't deal with that big of a car payment.

You having the dealer install the roof rack?

That's not a bad deal on the roof rails but wish cross bars came with it.

I am installing the roof rack myself. First SUV and I must say, no regrets. From what I can say so far, no regrets! We got the sport so it handles pretty tight. Like having the higher viewing point. But in the end only time will tell how it compares to the TL. I really hated getting rid of the TL I truly loved that car!

Nice, that's going to be a hell of a project. You should do a writeup.

The roof rails seem pretty straight forward, not drilling, the studs are already under the black molding. rom what I can tell, it doesn't seem to be that big of a task.

I will take some pictures and try to get a write up together for those that are interested.

A write-up and/or pictures sounds like a good idea. I would be interested.

That would be sweet if you did a writeup, but if what you said is true about the studs already being there then that should be a cake install. I've always thought they had to be drilled in but if they come with the studs from the factory I'll it it myself also and the sport running boards too.

Keep us updated.

Uggggh .... too late for me as I've got the dealer installed running boards ... but I'll be very interested in knowing how-to about roofs & cross-bars ..... not sure if these are in the garage or not, but MDX does seem naked with those roof-accessary IMO ...

How's the turning radius on the MDX? I have TL that the wife primarily drives and as everyone knows it sucks. My Xterra can turn on a dime, just curious as how the MDX fairs.

Congrats on the new ride. I have a 2005 TL and am seriously considering picking up a new MDX as well.

I installed the roof rails and side moldings on Tuesday. Took a ton of pictures and hope to have a DIY write done this weekend!
