New 2010 MDX TECH owner!

Hello all,

Just took delivery of a new 2010 MDX Tech today for my wife. It is a beautiful car inside and out. As a current TL lease customer, I was able to get a great lease rate.

We are looking forward to taking this vehicle out on a road trip. This SUV has it all, performance, comfort, and style.

Congratz! IMHO, the MDX is the best luxury SUV available.

How is the rear view camera compared to the 4G TL? Does it offer any views to facilitate parking?

Yeah it features 3 views that you can toggle between by just pressing the main data dial.

There is normal, wide angle, and also a "looking down" view that is perfect for lining up with a trailer hitch.

For sure it is helpful in backing up since there is so much car back there, being confident about how much space you have left to park.

Litt Hello. Sadly your new car post makes my MDX Pride and Joy seem like a Chic's Car now. Oh Well...

I was driving the new MDX today. In sport mode the accelleration is very responsive. You can hear the throaty rumble of the exhaust in the otherwise quiet environment. Peak torque is now at 4.5k RPM and the transmission does a great job of finding it.

Sorry about the bad pictures. The exposure was off on the camera. I will take some more but it snowed this evening.

Yes those are headlight washers, they are something to see. I'm glad Canadians get something for the higher prices we have to pay.

Even though we have the tech package we do not get the acuralink technology such as traffic unpdates and weather updates.

No one is getting the link updates from the factory. I was told you had to have XM so I went for XM and then told it does not work with iPhone or Blackberry. Pressing to see what phone I could buy with service that would work the Acura Guy "could not say for sure".

Acuralink is a multi faceted feature. The traffic and weather updates are provided through an XM subscription (above and beyond the radio subscription). You do not need a cell phone linked to the vehicle for this feature to work, just pay for the subscription after your trail period runs out.

Acuralink as a feature that you can use to set service appointments and connect to the Acura Server requires a bluetooth cell phone capable of supporting the feature. If you go here....

www.handsfreelink.com

you can find out what phones are available with your service provider and what features the car has that the phone will also support.
