Corey, haven't heard from you for quite a while.

It's good that you're back.

Here are some shots of the MDX towing. The camper's dry weight is 3607 lbs, full tank of water is 378 lbs, the gear I've added on the inside around 250 lbs. So around 4250 pounds. The only time you notice it is accelerating, it does good but it's not going to be racing at the lights. You'll rarely get into 5th or 6th gear with it becasue of the drag of a big honkin camper.

I just picked up an 09 MDX. where can I get advanced running boards from and how much do they cost

I agree, I considered both and bought a '13 after looking at both on the dealer's lot. On balance I'm definitely happy I got the '13.

You have your choice on the 07-09 MDX from:

Running boards $449 (shipping included in price)
Sport Running Board $439 (shipping included in price)
Chrome Side Step $525 (shipping included in price)

http://www.curryacuraparts.com/

You can find it cheaper other places; but, they sometimes don't include shipping in the price. Shipping can be anywhere from $20-$200 at other online parts place.

Same! Sorry about stepping out there for a while. Got a little too busy between college and work.

There you go! I was able to get these as freebies from my dealership.

Sometimes the dealership parts department can price match or give you a slightly higher price with faster shipping (sometimes overnight or 3-5 days).

I needed a front underbody spoiler for my 06 TSX and I found it for $260 online; but, they wanted $180 for 7-10 day ground shipping. My local Acura dealership sold me the same part for $350 total and it came in 3 days.

This is true, I will be posting some more pictures of the MDX today with some 50/50's after the buffing, traded my mom the TL-S for her MDX for a day to get this done and I have to say, i love how this thing drives SO much more than my TL.
