Need some peoples expertise om pricing, quickly!
I have an opportunity to buy one of two MDX's. Both advanced tech packages.
One is a 2010 with 10,500 miles. They want 45,900 for it OR should I get a 2009 Advanced Tech package with 24k miles for 35,800? Both certified.
Any wiggle room to negotiate the price on the 2010?
Suggestions are highly appreciated.

Here is my first red flag. They did not make a 2009 MDX Advanced. That did not come out until the 2010 model with the new body style. They changed body styles in 2010 and brought out the advanced packages with the adaptive cruise (ACC), collision midagation braking system (CMBS), the active damper system and the air cooled seats. If it really is an '09 it will have the older body style. You can also tell the '10 Advanced has the plastic shield in the front middle of the grill, it prosects the sensor used the ACC and the CMBS. You can also look at the 10th digit on the VIN, if it is an A that is a '10, if it is a 9 then it is a 2009.
I will say I just sold a '10 advanced for $49.5k, new. IF it is Acura Certified then you are getting the same vehicle with a bumper to bumper warrenty 1500 miles better then a new one. You are also getting an extended powertrain warrenty of 30k miles so it has a 19500 mile better then new powertrain warrenty. That is good at any Acura dealership nationwide. All for about $4000 less then new. Did they tell you what kind of financing they were offering you? Right now Certified preowned have a promotional interest rate. It all depends on where you live though. Hope this all helps. If you have any other questions you can email me at RHensley@drivehubler.com.
