what is the name of the oil we use to change the front and rear differential on an 03 acura mdx touring? thanks.

 

Isn't it VTM-4 Fluid?

 

Maybe you meant, transfer assembly, and not front differential? My service manual has no mention of front differential. Only rear differential. Fluid for rear diff. is Acura VTM-4 Differential Fluid: P/N 08200-9003A

It does mention transfer assembly, though. Fluid for the transfer assembly is Hypoid gear oil GL4 or GL5. SAE 90: above 0 degree F. SAE 80W-90: below 0 degree F.
