We're looking to get a MDX to replace our Lexus SUV so just curious if anyone here has modified theirs?

We are already an Acura owner family so this would be a welcome addition - side note anyone selling a 2009+ MDX in white let me know

I can't leave any car stock so help me with ideas

 

What did you mod on the Lexus? Besides "look good" things, there is really not that much you have for the MDX
-Rims
-LEDs
-Tints
-body trim/running boards/roof rack/Bug deflectors??

There is actually an exhaust and Jpipe in development by Mr.Heeltoe (sp?). So, more along the lines of "what are you looking for?"

Oh, and my particular mod was to paint rims and silver trim black, including door handles and window surround chrome trim.

I have no desire to do performance or make the car loud and un-liveable so mainly cosmetic and electronics.

Plans to add rims, running boards, window visors, roof rack, tow hitch package, custom stereo, radar, and maybe using vinyl to do some color changes are in order. I may also do some LED work for DRL's since that is one of our shop specialties

So there are no pictures of modified MDX's on this site? hard to believe......wow!

 

There are a few, but mainly what was listed...Just browse around and you'll find them. There is also another board, MDXers.org, not as good as this one though.

 

I got a tow bar installed if that counts

I also did the white LEDs on my license plates and plan on getting yellow Hoen Bulbs for my fogs. I have an 11 Advance in Grigio and there isn't much to add to it. I might wash her tomorrow. If I do i'll post a pic. She's too dirty to be shown off right now. My favorite color is white, this is the first non-white car I have owned in 8 years. Even my bicycles and minivan are white.

Yes I love white cars too and most of mine are white except our CT200h which was super hard to find in white so we settled on silver.

Post up pictures when you get a chance.

I'm doing mostly OEM mods to my 2012, but it's sort of like a progression thread. Completion for my MDX mods is slated for this summer. There isn't that many mods to do to the 2nd gen MDX due to Acura hitting the mark well with this design.

those are pretty much most of them (which are mostly OEM accessories).

most people know what the MDX looks like with the OEM accessories, hence there aren't too many inclined to share pics of their car.

 

You forgot the Body Side Molding, which I know you do not like but I do
