i just bought a used acura mdx 2007 ent. pack with auto liftgate,the used car came with 1 key,i want get a replacement for the 2nd key.

my question is how do i know which memory is missing because i was asked to select which of the memory at the time of my order.thanks

OP, on the back of your keyfob it should say either Memory 1 or 2. If you have Memory 1, ask the dealer for a Memory 2 fob, or vis versa. The dealer can take care of the rest for you as far as cutting and programming, but there are ways to DIY, so just search Acurazine for that info.

 

I have an old style, separate key and separate fob. There is no writing on the back or it wore off. I'm the only one driving the car, so it probably doesn't matter which I order ? I'm looking into getting the Switchblade key/fob.
