My 2011 expensive shocks are beginning to leak at 66 K Miles and not sure if I want to have them replaced at $ 1500 plus.
Can any one confirm that non electronic shocks work and what exactly the price and part number is ?
I know there will be error light displayed on dash if non electronic are used.
Or any other recommendations…

 

I swapped to the tech model parts and they work well. You'll need to buy a few extra resistors to turn off the ADS light so it doesn't appear on the dash. Mine were worn by 120K and I bought all acura parts. Acura no longer sells the parts pre-assembled.

 

Yes its doable (did it myself on my 2011 MDX - no issues over 2yrs later, daily driver)
