So I've been driving my 2004 since it was new - and I'm a shade over 5 feet. I've been in PT off and on for years - and have only recently realized that most people don't drive with their big toe, with their heel off the floorboard of the car.

Any suggestions on car cushions or pedal extenders, or people to install pedal extenders in the northern VA area? I think it would help with foot, hip and leg issues I've been having. I'm hesitant to install or use anything that could do more harm than good. If I could just get the seat a little lower - but then, probably too low against the steering wheel. If I stretch so my heel can rest on the floorboard, my lower back is no longer against the seat. Anyone else out there who is short and have had a good fit with a cushion brand/type you'd recommend?
