Hi all,

I am looking at buying a 2008 MDX, 40k mileage, Tech and Entertainment Pkg, very clean, Black on Black for $23,828.80. It is a friend of mine coming off lease and that is his residual.

Need confirmation that this is a good deal and has anyone else bought a end of lease MDX from a private seller?

seriously, this is a great price. I found one on the web for that kind-a money and it was a scam. I don't think that you will find them for less than 30K for what you are describing

Not a savage title. Never been wrecked. I have seen his lease paperwork, 36 month lease, 40k total allowed mileage, $871/month, residual of $23.8, comming off lease in July '12. Neighbor said he would also calculate his overage mileage by taking the average monthly miles driven multiply by the month remaining and multiplied by $0.20 per mile that he would have to pay the dealer. So my total buy amount would be less than the $23.8.

So I take it this is a good deal. I am going to take over his lease first of next year and then buy the X in July. Thanks for all the responses.

Sorry post above should say the X is comming off lease in July 2011 not 2012.
