I have the Ent with my MDX and I have yet used the DVD player when traveling. We get more use from our 128GB iPad mini with movies, games, Netflix, email, banking, and music. I can tether it to any of our iPhones for internet anytime. A big plus is we can take the iPad with us into the hotel and connect to the flat screen to watch movies.

Appreciate the info... We will definitely put the DVD system to use with our young ones. We actually have a '14 RDX Tech as a loaner because during the test drive the VSA and TCS warning popped on and the dealer wanted to resolve the issue which was to be expected. This brings up a question, have you guys experience any transmission issues in the 2010-2013 Xs? I know the TL had some (prior to the 4th gen), but my quick search didn't find anything... A least I'm covered w/ warranty now, but planning for future as I don't want transmission rebuilds like I'm dealing with in my 2G TL or what I read with the 3G TL.

Multiple components and too many variables to say definitively. However, I only wind up changing the oil in my TL-S only once a year, but I only drive between 7000 and 8000 miles a year.
