Well, I just got home from an Acura parts department after spending $201.35! I've been checking online for a decent price for Acura 5W20 Synthetic Blend motor oil, ATF DW-1 fluid, and the rear differential fluid DPSF.

The online prices from Acura dealers and Honda dealers were all pretty close but many of them did not carry the branded Acura or Honda fluids! I even checked with Tim but he would have to special order the oil, and didn't know what quantity he would have to get, and it would take at least several weeks.

The best prices I found were online from a "local" Ft Worth Acura dealer (Oil-$3.70, ATF DW-1 $5.93, and DPSF $7.04 and he also had the lowest shipping cost. Shipping is the big down side to buying on line, as some of the quotes were outrageous! Even with not having to pay sales tax, the shipping costs ate up any savings.

I called the Acura dealer in Ft Worth and happened to get the wholesale parts manager. I asked if he would honor the online prices if I picked them up in person, and he said no problem. I drove over there and got all Acura branded fluids. 24 quarts of oil, 12 quarts of ATF, 3 quarts of DPSF, 4 transmission crush washers, and 2 rear differential crush washers. With tax it came to $201.35

I had previously purchased 6 Honda oil filters (the A01 type) on eBay and they came with the crush washers. I'm all set for my 5000 mile oil change intervals now on my wifes 2012 MDX.

After helping me load the fluids into my truck, the manager told me he would give me 28% off on any future purchase, which is what he gave me on the fluids.
