Installed Side Molding and Side Steps

Bought these items from Curry Acura online. Overall it was fairly simple to do. I think the hardest part of the two was taping off the character line to do the side moldings. It was pretty difficult to get it straight on. The side steps were very simple to install..just time consuming. If any of you are hesitant because you're not mechanically inclined, don't worry. If you can screw in some bolts, you can install these. I can't believe how much Acura dealers are charging to install these things. I did both of these just around 3 hours. Here are some before and after pics:

Did you call a dealership to ask what it would cost for an install ? If so, what did they quote you ?

Looks great!

I've waffled on the body side molding but so far have resisted getting them.

I paid $95 to have my sport running boards installed at a dealer here, the other wanted around $200 to do it!

I called my local dealer and they said they could install the side steps for $250. I believe the side steps alone were over $600 if you bought them at a dealership. Also, the price of the molding and installation from the dealer was close to $300.

I bought these both from Curry Acura and paid $650 (free shipping) to my door. Not bad huh?

I bought some billet sidesteps off Ebay for $119 + $30 shipping, for my '03 MDX. Truck Gear Direct is the Ebay store's name. Got it in less than a week!

Looks pretty good to me!

Insallation was pretty simple, as roushracin stated!

Looks much better. Gives it somewhat of an aggressive personality.
