How many miles??
So, how many miles have you guys racked up and how's the vehicle holding up? I'm very tempted to add an MDX to the family. Won't buy new, but I've found several '11's for a reasonable price. Most around 60K miles. I'm thinking absolutely nothing should be wrong on a Honda vehicle with such low mileage. What say you? My DD is a '12 TL SH-AWD and my GF has fallen in love with the MDX

I have '11 MDX Advance w 24K miles.
No runs hits or errors.
If you are looking at 60K miles ... pay attention to the shocks.
If you are looking at Advanced ... those electro magnetic shocks are great but pricey.

The two 2011's that my fiancee and i purchased Dec 27th are as follows
#1 had 31k at purchase and 39k now. Outside of having a bad drivers side bearing that i didnt know about till well after the purchase, its been trouble free.
#2 had 17k miles at purchase and 27k now. Zero issues to date.

Purchased a used 11 Advance+Ent with 30,000 miles in Jan/14. I now have +43,000 miles on her after 8 months. The only thing unexpected; but, covered by the standard warranty was a torn front end-link boot causing a clunking sound over bumps from the front passenger end. Everything else has been routine services and adding mods (roof rack, trailer hitch, clear bra, tint, etc...). Plan on taking the MDX another 100,000 miles minimum before trading her in.
I've noticed my M.I.D. oil change interval is longer on the MDX at around 7000 miles compared to my TSX or RDX at 5000 miles. I guess the big V-6 is less stressful on oil compared to the i-Vtec & turbo I-4s of the other vehicles.

Thanks for the info, hopefully a few more members chime in. My interweb research says nothing to be afraid of with a moderately used MDX, but I love to do my homework. We would put less than 5K miles on per year, so would hope to get 10 years or more out of whatever we get

I bought my '09 MDX with approx. 35K miles on it. Right now, I'm just rolling over to 110K miles. This is my third Acura purchase. These vehicles will run well provided they get serviced when required. My last 2 Acuras ('01 TL, '06 TSX) were traded in when they went over 200K miles. I plan on keeping my MDX until I get the same mileage point.
