When I initially picked up my car the sales guy walked me through importing the contacts from my Droid phone into my MDX via the HFL. He asked if I had more than 1,000 contacts and I made a face, shook my head and said no. Whelp...5 minutes later and the HFL notified me that the import stopped at 1,000. Apparently Gmail keeps anyone who I ever sent an email to or received one from as a contact and imported those as part of the process. I only have 20-30 that I would want and even some of those I could care less about. I tried manually entering contacts but the Phonebook option is grayed out if I turn my phone off, and attempts to import if it's on.

So, 'Ziners, how do I import a limited list of contacts from my Google/Gmail/Android phone?
