I bought my CBP/Umber TL Advance in May. Wifey liked the color combo sooooo much, guess what she got for her Birthday? It will be a while before I am in the dog house again

I bought her the CBP/Umber MDX Advance.

Ha, that's a backhanded compliment if I ever saw one. The umber looks great. Color combos are totally subjective and for anyone to suggest that this one is an "aquired taste" is close minded....and I'm being generous...

The Umber is not special order, but it's not as readily available as other color combinations. I live in DFW, but had to have the TL delivered from Austin. At the time we made the purchase, there was only one CBP/Umber Advance within 1000 miles.

Interesting note, from my experience, people either love it or hate it. Unless folks are just being nice to me and my wife, all comments we have received are "Wow, I love the interior!" At first it looked a little to orange, but when I saw it with the widows tinted, the shade cut the orange hue and now looks more saddle brown color.

 

^ Personally, I love it because it's different and it goes great with the black interior/exterior.

I'm looking to trade in my Pilot next year -- now I just need to decide between a TL and the MDX.

 

the umber is really nice and is rare. you can only get it with white and black paint.

 

I liked the Umber interior also. Wife not so keen on it. So CBP/Ebony for us ! Nice pair of cars for your garage.

 

Hey Dmanz, how dark did you tint your front windows on the X? I just picked up the exact same MDX color combo, but in the Canadian version.
