Hello, first time posting but I’ve read through this forum for a while. I have a 2007 MDX and recently I replaced my handle on the front passenger because someone broke into my car but I noticed this rod that was really loose and I couldn’t find a way to secure it in this little hole by the latch. I think that rod slipped out of where it connects to the latch and I can’t open my door from either the inside or the outside. My question is if there is a way I can get my door open so I can take the door panel off and replace whatever bracket was holding that rod in place or alternatively if there’s a way to get the door panel off from the inside so that maybe I can open the door through the door panel. I can’t afford taking it to the dealer so any ideas apart from drilling the door I’m open to trying. Thanks in advance.
