Flashing CEL

Drive a 2004 Acura MDX and recently put a UR pulley on and also removed the intake resonator i also have a drop in K&N drop in filter. Question i have is when i accelerate hard (VTEC area) i get a flashing CEL and it does not go of until i let of the gas a bit and press the gas again. I dont know if it's the Pulley or the resonator. Anybody run in to this before?. Any info on this would be great. Thanks,F1

the pulley is causing it, the TL has this issue to. Flashing CEL means misfire...

Anything you can do about it or removing the pulley would be the only thing that would fix the flashing?.

it should go away by itself after a while. thats what happened to the TL guys. The first few times it would give a CEL, then it would not come on...

Flashing CEL

I reset the ECU and that seemed to take care of it. Just so everybody knows.

FYI - A flashing CEL typically (at least, used to) mean TURN OFF THE ENGINE NOW whereas a lit CEL meant "you should have it checked".
