Well the MDX faired better but it didn't matter..

Holy Moly .... used to drive pretty fast but now with the MDX (and the extra resp.) I'm a lot cautious on the road 'cuz you never know how the other driver would act, impaired or not ...

Sad story. Air bags, reinforced steel, seat belts. it all helps significantly. But in the end, you can't engineer away the laws of physics. Speed kills
