Factory navi/dvd radio or aftermarket????
So I have a base model 2005 mdx, I was thinking of changing the radio to navigation/DVD model but was wondering what is the best model to get. I saw somewhere that said if I switched to the factory system the navigation wouldn't work. Any thoughts????

2005 MDX after market nav or factory
Did you ever get an answer? I have a 2006 MDX and have been asking the same question. If you selected the factory system, how much did it cost? (did you need to buy a new harness etc...I've been told its "major surgery" from the dealer).
If you went with an aftermarket unit, what did you go with and are you happy with it?

Cruising in ATL!!
I changed it to aftermarket. Went with kenwood model as its navi is based on garmin. Couldn't be happier. I have 2006 MDX touring without factory navi.
