DRL fogs

Does anybody know how to change DRL to foglights instead of the high beams? Canadian vehicles are required to have DRL by law and the 1st gen MDX's came with high beams as DRL from factory.

I know there are members here who have managed to wire fog lights to come on with parking lights. However I want the fogs to be used as DRL and still want to be able to control them with the switch (at night). Someone managed to do this on a TSX and was still able to retain all the factory functions, however we are talking about the MDX here so I'm clueless.

I posted on MDXers but it doesn't look like anybody knows over there.

So, how would I go about this?

Recently saw the aftermath of a 100 car/rig Foggy morning pileup on US I 10 between Houston and Beaumont Texas ... 6 hours after a dozen rigs were so mangled they could not be towed and would need cranes w flat top trucks to haul off the pieces.

Fog lights are a good addition but think under the DRL or next to is the way to go with more powerful aftermarkets ... or just camp out at a dinner until fog lifts.
Look at KC Fog lights and note that in US most states limit on road to 55 aux watts. Off road is 130 watts.
