Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. 2010 MDX. Power driver sear with up/down feature is not working. The slide and title features both work. There is a motor that raises the front of the seat up/down and a second motor that raises the rear of the seat up down. Symptoms:
1. The front motor gets very hot, and I hear a click, but the motor does not spin. I briefly got the front motor to spin and move the seat down after pulling the negative cable hoping that would reset the computer, but that was temporary, and pulling the negative cable again does not work.
2. The rear motor sounds like it is spinning, but the rear of the seat does not move up or down.
3. What is odd is that neither the front up/down nor the rear up/down works while it appears that the front and rear up/down motors are on separate circuits (at least according to the alldatadiy schematic).
I searched the web looking for ideas but am at a loss. Seems like power seats rarely break so there are very few posts on the issue. Thanks for any thoughts.
