just inherited a 2005 MDX with 58000 miles on it. black on black. love it but the door locks dont work with the fob or master drivers side, only the rear hatch works.

I sincerely do not know, my MDX gave me some problems with faulty locks but mine is a 2G.. It was the driver door sub harness cable (The one going from the door to the chassis)..

Did you also try replacing the fob battery. It's a long shot but sometimes a low battery can cause strange behavior.

 

the fact that the faster lock on the drivers door doesnt work the other doors makes me think its something else, but it wont hurt to try.
