Crankshaft pulley rattle/wobble
Hi all,
I have a cranck shaft pulley that is wobbling and making some rattling noise that is loud enough to hear from the inside. Replaced the pulley. First, it was quite, but after driving 5 minutes, the noise and wobble came back. The old one doesn't look too bad, cracked rubber but nothing missing. Ive had a low ticking sound for about a month and thought nothing of it, thought it was just the cold weather. One day it started clanking, after some investigation, replaced the pulley. With the new one, the sound isn't as loud and the wobble is less noticable. Could it be that the key or the shaft was worn down? Does anyone have the measurements for id and od of the pulley or shaft? Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Dump the car. The only way to fix the woble is to replace the crank shaft.
The last tech to change the T belt bent the crank shaft some how. One way is to heat the crank bolt with a torch.
