Connecting iPhone/iPad using Apple Composite AV Cables

Has anyone with the Entertainment package connected their iPhone or iPad to the rear display using the Apple Composite A/V cables? Are there any limitations in terms of what can be passed through to the video screen (e.g. video player, Netflix). I have a iPhone 4s and iPad 3rd Generation if that makes a difference. Thanks!

I just tried the Component cable from iPad2 and obviously it is useless because the ENT system is composite. I am not going to buy the composite cable as that technology is ancient and I'm very dissapointed that the ENT does not have component or HDMI. You are probably better off just watching on the iPad unless you have the DVD and then you can use the attributes of the system. You can, however, use the audio out to the ENT to get the audio through the speakers of the car while watching on the iPad.
BTW - my MDX is 2010 ADV/ENT and the batteries have died in my removable remote but it still works fine when the remote is plugged in.
In your set up you will be able to see and hear stored media from either device.
The best baby sitter is a pair of Bose Noise Cancelling headphones for each kid but they do tend to shout at you when they wish to talk to you!

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, composite isn't the greatest but luckily my 19-month old isn't an HD-snob yet. I picked up the cables but haven't had a chance to hook them up yet. Will report back when I do.
