Braided brake lines?

I don´t feel spongy brakes on the MDX and the EBD works very good..
This was the very first mod I wanted to do but after lots of touge runs my worries settled down, the brakes works very good.. I would try EBC HD Brake Pads with the stock rotors before trying to change the lines.. Even on stock brakes fade is very well controlled and the EBD specially in the MDX is very strong, Lots of rear brake bias.

I did the Fastline front/rear stainless steel brake lines from Heeltoe Automotive: https://www.heeltoeauto.com/clearanc...acura-mdx.html
They are on clearance at Heeltoe for $110 for front/rear. I did the upgrade when I upgraded my brakes to HeelToe stage II brake upgrade kit (Racing brake slotted rotors, steel braided brake lines and Carbotech 1521 pads+20" Conti DWS). The brake upgrades feel about the same in normal driving with a touch more initial bite when applying the brakes.
To feel the full benefits of the upgrades, you might also need to change your tires and pads. I felt the benefits of the brake/tire upgrade on the hwy at +80 mph when I had to slam on the brakes because debris flew out of a open boat being towed. I was loaded down with about 800lbs of gear and a cargo roof rack. It felt like I tossed out an anchor (seat belt pre-tensioners deployed also). I don't think I would have stopped as hard in that emergency situation with OEM pad, rotors, and tires.
