Bluetooth to iPhone issues 2008 MDX

Hey Y’all,

I have a question regarding making calls with my iPhoneusing HandsFree Link and Bluetooth in my 2008 MDX with the tech package.

When I dial a number on my iPhone I see on the Sourcesscreen 3 options. Handsfree Link, iPhoneand Speaker. HandsFree Link (HFL) isselected, but the call does not come through the car’s audio system. So I select the iPhone as the source to talkon the phone. If I want to transfer thecall to HFL, I physically have to select HFL on the Source screen before itwill come through the car’s audio.

I have other cars with Bluetooth connectivity with theiPhone and when I make the call it immediately goes to the car’s audio.

Is this just how it works on the 2008 MDX or is there asetting I need to check?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

I have the same issue when I start the call on my iPhone and not use the HFL to generate it. I have a 2008 also. Plus I use the iPhone 5s with iOS 7. As long as you answer or generate the call via the HFL all is good.
