Bike Carriers

How do you carry your bikes? In the vehicle, on the roof or on the trailer hitch? Please post some pictures. The SUV looks a little tall to make roof top racks a little hard to use.

Bikes are easy to load on top. We use the factory rack (on the RDX) with two RockyMounts without issue. The MDX is only three inches taller then the RDX. If you can't reach from the ground, just open a door.

I went out and bought a hitch mount today. I like how the rack goes on and off in under 1 minute with a single bolt.

I have nightmares about carry items other than skis and snowboards on my roof as I frequent hotels in the summer that have underground parking.

I am 5 feet 10 inches and I find it awkward to get the bikes on the roof. I would freak if I or others toppled a bike on my roof.

I do have 2 trays for a roof mount set up, but use this on my car only:

Put training wheels on the bike and tow it with a rope!
