Battery Management message

Battery Management message
Our MDX greeted us with this on Sunday.
The car started OK, and everything seems to be in order. I connected my battery tester / charger to it, and it said the battery was down to 75%. I charged it back up to 100 %. Please note that this happened at the end of a week of very cold temps, (just above zero overnight) with my wife taking several trips that were less than 1 mile one way each. I could see why the battery got drained. The car never had a chance to re-charge it, plus she kept using the lift gate (trips to store, etc).
Anyway....my question is......does anybody know how to clear this message. There doesn't seem to be an option thru the menus. Does this result in an OBD code I can clear myself ?.
Thanks.

If this message is on your 2011, I would take it to the dealer and let them check it out. You may have been able to charge it back to 100%, but why did it go low to begin with? You sure don't want your wife to be stranded somewhere if in fact the battery or something else is really at fault.
I know you mentioned the cold, short trips, and opening the tailgate several times. I would have the dealer test the battery for a bad cell or other problems with the charging system. Something might have to be replaced or repaired under warranty.
No need to turn off codes while the car is still under warranty. Let the dealership figure it out.

Well I figured out how to clear it. Just wanted to see if it will come back. If it does it will be off to the dealer. Also, while poking around, I found a bunch of "camera error" messages that were logged.
Interesting.
Interesting.

Care to share how you cleared the message. I have a couple I'm trying to clear from when I pulled some fuses.

I found this elsewhere and followed it with some changes.......
1. press & hold the "cancel", "map/guide", and "menu" buttons at the same time.
2. use the big dial to select "xm/hip"
3. select "xm/hip ECU"
4. select "diagnostic info"
5. you then will see the list of messages, select and delete each one.
6. exit out, by selecting "return" on the top right part of screen.
the changes were that I got different screens, but I was able to navigate thru them to the right place......it isn't that difficult. Just go slow and make sure you don't press on the wrong thing and mess up something else.
