AntiFreeze and Differential Fluid

AntiFreeze and Differential Fluid
So I bought a Certified 2010 MDX in October 2011 with 24,000 miles. It now has 28,000. I took it into Acura of Manhattan for 2 recalls and they say I need to flush my anti-freeze and replace my differential fluid. Are they just trying to get me to overservice the truck?
Thanks!
Thanks!

My rule of thumb is that if the MID doesn't call for it, is not necessary.

I think the MID will call for the differential fluid roughly every 15k. Anti-freeze should be something like every three years.
If you bought it certified, they should have made sure all fluids were fresh before selling it to you. I'd tell them that if they need to be done, they should be the ones paying for it, since you purchased it Certified.

Do what the maintenance minder (aka MID) says, not the dealer.

I looked at the manual yesterday and it mentions some of he intervals. I would send a message to Acura corporate and tell them that the dealer is trying to get you to perform unnecessary maintenance in the car, in other words, trying to rip you off
