Hello All,

Semi-new here. I bought an 07 TL back in 2007, joined the site, but was broke so I resisted the urge to come here, see other people's cars, and spend money I didn't have.

Now I just bought an 07 CPO MDX w/ tech & ent and wanted to add some nerf bars/running boards. I like the tubular style and was wondering if anyone had experience with 3rd party aftermarket ones? I'd love to get OEM, but there is about a $350 difference in price. I've been searching ebay and there are some aftermarket ones that look kinda like oem, but it's hard to tell from their pictures. So if anyone has any experience I would love to hear them.

I did do a search and it seems like most people just get the OEM set, just didn't know if there were reports that aftermarket ones didn't looks/fit as well as OEM.

Oh yeah, I also tried to look at the photo gallery, but I guess I have not posted enough, so it won't allow me to see pics.

I don't know where you live but you should check craigslist.com. There are lots of folks who buy accessories for leased vehicles and return them to stock before turning them in to the dealer. I've seen a couple of sets - they were/are used, but they are OEM........... Just a thought.

I too am looking for a set of these. To the OP, I agree that the price difference is huge. I am considering EBAY ones, but would like to hear someone else's prior experience first.
