Advance in Dark Cherry

Anyone have an Advance with dark cherry over parchment? Any pics? Does the parchment advance seats have contrast stitching like the ebony?

Your question implies that the ebony has contrast stitching? The only ebony that I have seen has black stitching and I have never seen contrasting stitching on any color.

The Advance does have contrast stitching, but with the Parchment you do not really notice it in person. The thread color does not stand out anymore so than it does on a Tech, etc. with Parchment.

Here's an example Dark Cherry & Parchment Advance.

On Parchment, it simply doesn't stand out, and there isn't a color they could use to make it do so unless they went dark with a charcoal/black thread.

How well does the Cherry paint hold up against scratches or swirl marks? Or should I go with a metallic color like Polished Metal or Grigio?

I've owned a black colored car before and hated the swirl marks I got from the car washes (winter) though I wash it by hand in the summer.

@Marjenmiller - any dark color will not hold up too well against scratching and swirling. I have a Grigio Adv and its a task keeping it clean. i don't have swirl marks or scratches but thats only because I don't take it to car washes, i don't even let the dealer wash it. I do it myself at home. If i don't have time to wash it then I just let it be dirty, but i neverl let anyone wash it for me.

THanks NTWILLIE. Sometimes the cold (winter) season doesn't give me much choice but to have it washed, so I figured it may swirl, but just wondering if that color (cherry) is bad or worse than other colors.

IMO, Dark Cherry Pearl II / Parchment is the best color combo available 2012+.

My favorite color combo of all MDXs is Ionized Bronze / Umber.
