Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Have to believe the ride in that is absolutely horrendous.

Over sized wheels to show how much you spent? Check!

LOL - that's a funny pic - I don't know what's worse, the wheels, or the lack of tint

it's gotta be the combo... Acura should sell it exactly like that at the dealerships.

Maybe the next step would be putting on wooden wagon wheels.

I didn't even know you could put 28s on an MDX. Nice wheels, but too big imo. And I like big rims.

We had to do a lot of cutting!!!! Plus we used a new tire they just came out with 255/25/28. Don't need the wagon wheels, it rides like one.

And I'm sure your customer paid through the teeth for this set up as well. No worries all the fillings are going to be falling out of his/her teeth in the not too distant future.........
What do you do if you get a flat?? No wait, how would you know??

If you don't mind, can you tell us what the cost to do this was??

Wow. Does the customer look like he would physically kill you if you mentioned how ridiculous this looks ? That's the only way I could see someone rolling around with this setup. Horrible.

How's the ride? 255/25 is seriously thin. I bet you drive extremely careful. I do like the rims though.

Oh---umm . Wow dude.
I usually see dudes do stuff like this to Civics, not MDX's.
I guess its a personal preference but man to me that just doesn't look right.
But if you like it its all that counts. Maybe because I'm not in my 20's anymore I don't see the appeal.

Royeco - your first mistake was putting these wheels on. Your second mistake was saying that it was on yours.

No big deal. OP wanted 28s on his MDX, he got 28s. Way too big for me, but I do like the looks of the rims. Tires are seriously thin. I should look up the size just to see how much these tires would run each.

Props to you for doing your own thing, but I can think of lots of stuff I'd rather spend that kind of cash on.
To each his own and it's your ride -

Thats my thing. Some guys like fishing, some like hunting, some like chasing women!!!!! From what my friends spend on hunting (rifles, ammo, cloths, etc) and fishing shit (boats, rods, reels, etc.) my wheels are a cheap hobby.

Lets be honest, Everyone likes chasing women
I think rims like this appeal to the 21 and under crowd.
I don't see the appeal but I'm not under 21 for quite some time now.

By saying hobby do you have other rims and tires combination or is this the beginning?

It's his MDX, so he can do what he wants with it, but was curious what he meant by hobby.
