For 2013, the MDX remains as it has been...may be a shorter year.

The main changes are in colors.

-Taupe interior now called Graystone
-Polished Metal and Grigio no longer offered; Graphite Luster with Ebony or Graystone now available

The rest remains the same.

 

I've been hearing that the facelift will occur on the 2014 model? I wonder how they'll change the MDX while prioritizing on fuel economy.

 

Typical Acura: Grigio was their most popular color so they drop it?
I have never liked the Acura limited color combination availability.

 

Just a facelift? The MDX is now going on its seventh year; that's the longest I've seen a non-exotic car stay in production. Lol, I'm actually surprised they introduced a new RDX before a new MDX.

 

Hi Beach109 - are you certain that the 2013 will be the same design as 2012 with only changes in color selection?

I wouldn't bet in it though. Acura seems to be changing their entire line up, but th MDX is their best selling vehicle. If I isn't broken, why fix it? I hope they incorporate the newer technology such as push button start and keyless entry that the new RDX has.

nothing major for the TL, the TSX, RL or the MDX for 2013.

new RLX due out 2014 and most likely 2014 for the redesigned MDX (based on the i spy photos)...the TL(X) will probably be out in 2015 along with the new NSX. and the poor TSX...who knows. maybe acura will bring back a coupe...new RSX perhaps.

of course if acura hasnt' announced it...it's all rumor. look for big things in the next couple of yrs from acura though....should be interesting.

 

Nooooo.... that'd be a long run for the 4G.

 

yeah i know...the pain...but i guess the tsunami messed with their plans, plus the mid cycle refresh is selling better. it looks like they will let it run for 3 yrs rather than 2. maybe they are hoping the early 4G design will be a forgotten look. it is forgetable (no offense to our early 4G owners peeking in here).

the MDX is behind as well...a 7yr run?! the TL will have a 6yr run when it's usually 5.
