2011 MDX vs. Enclave vs. MKT/MKX
maybe in styling... i just ran screaming from an 08 acadia into a 2011 MDX. great design, but it was in the shop every month we owned it, including getting a brand new engine at 28k miles. we traded it in with 37k with a dead nav, check engine light coming on indicating the new engine's timing was going and a tranny issue. anyone considering buying an acadia, enclave or traverse should google: gm 3.6 timing chain or gm 3.6 engine issues. such a shame because its really the only crossover that offers 3 rows of full size seating.

You can pretty much Google any make and find powertrain issues, but I'd certainly bet money on the Acura 3.7L reliability over pretty much anything else.Jeanie drives everywhere, so her mileage is piling up fast. So far, so good.
bringing up a fairly old thread, but we just purchased an 11 MDX Advance/Entertainment and drove all of the 3 row SUV's
Enclave - drove very well, however have a good friend with one that has had steering replaced and timing belt replaced before the 40K mark
Durango - Very nice as well, underpowered in the V6, Hemi is much better. Tranny is something left to be desired, Dodge has been using the same tranny for a while, and it has its issues. 12 model is supposed to be a 6speed
MKX/MKT - never drove the the MKT, but the MKX was a nice one. Lots of advanced features
Explorer - Nice as well, underpowered a bit due to its weight. As for the My Ford Touch, (and Lincoln) read some reviews by mags, they say it is very unreliable. I noticed as well that you have to be very firm with your touch, which is not good when you are driving and trying to pay attention to road.
CX-9 - never drove it, too small in 3rd row .
X5 - not impressed. Too plain inside.
just my .02
