Guess what? I can hook a trailer up to my truck and haul 5000 lbs of lawn mowers, "wet sand" , kids, a car, motorcycles, trees, furniture, gold, garbage and your tired explanations.

Getting into the weeds. First to say I'm sorry, you win, lets move on....

The OP probably purchased tires months ago and hasn't checked into this thread for who knows how long.

True.

Honestly, I don't know why I even cared... I call it a truck and to each their own... call it a bicycle for all I care.

Just circling back after a few months with a couple of rain / snow storms with the LX20's. They have excellent traction, and could not be happier. Did notice a very slight drop in MPG, but nothing to scream about.

Carry on.

I noticed a slight drop in mpgs on my X until I realized the colder temps drop my PSI by 2-3lbs. Now I'm run about 34-36 psi instead of 29-31 psi when I first noticed last fall.

I'm seriously considering a tire upgrade soon. Currently have Goodyear LS2 - no clue on mileage, bought the MDX used. The tread depth is excellent, but these have to be the worst wet/snow tires I've ever had on a vehicle. If it wasn't for the SH-AWD I think I would have been stuck a few times already this winter

Been running new Bridgestone Dueler Ecopia HL422 on our MDX for the last 2000 miles. They work great and they are quieter than the OEM Mich Latitude HP on some road surfaces.

So far so good over 25k miles with the relatively cheap Bridgestone Dueler H/L. Have not had the opportunity to test in deep snow as the weather has not been cooperative

I think the Michelin's and Pirelli's offer a smoother ride and better grip on turns, but you pay a premium.

Just did a lot of driving the past weekend in the Chicago snow storm and my Michelin Latitude HP's with 10K look new and performed flawless in the blizzard. Whisper quiet in summer and zero hydroplanning ever. Can't think of a single reason not to buy again. Michelins long life have always out weighted any higher price, always.

Has anyone tried the Nokian WRG3 SUV tires? I am thinking of getting these but not sure how they are during the summer. I believe they just came out. All-weather compared to All-season putting more focus on winter. Nokian WRG3 SUV - Nokian Tyres is introducing the rugged, high-performance Nokian WR G3 SUV all-weather tire for varied use on sports utility vehicles. / Nokian Tires

Back in 2010 we put Yokohama YK520s on my wife's 2007 MDX. 62,000 miles later they are finally due to be replaced. They were quite, had good traction and no negative impact on handling. They have been replaced by the YK580s and based on our past experience we are going to go with those.

I haven't seen anyone recommend TOYO Open Country's but I've had these for 5k miles after replacing OEM Michelins that wore way to quickly and at 3/32 nearly through me off the highway with just a little water on the road. The TOYO's have a 65k tread wear rating, tested them in heavy rain and snow and highway speeds and they have been great, smooth, quiet and wills save you a few hundred dollars over the michelins and pirellis.

New tires going on our 2010 within the next 2 weeks - just starting my research, reading nothing but positives for the Pirelli Scorpion Verde Plus, think that's going to be the winner, not too pricey either. Recently discovered the Goodyear's on our X are the originals by the date code on the tires - 75,000 miles and they're beginning dry rot and crazy noisy

It is next to impossible trying to find a quiet tire for Honda/Acura vehicles. Some tires are a little better than other; but, they all seem to be a little too noisy compared to other car brands. Road noise is the only problem consistent with the brand. I guess that is what the ELS is for.

Picked up the Perelli Scorpion Verde Plus All Seasons from tire rack for under $719. Just sent in the paperwork for Perelli's $60 rebate, so under 700 for 4 new tires. Can't complain about that. Had them mounted a few days ago. Only put 100 miles on them so far but initial thoughts are excellent grip, incredibly quiet. I had a conversation on blue tooth at 60mph and didn't have to crank the volume past 30 like usual. Braking is better. Now, I would imagine any tire I would have gone with would seem amazing compared to the good years I just got rid of that had 75K miles on them from 2010. We're taking a 150 mile round trip this afternoon and curious if MPG will be any better than normal, typically we see around 19 at 70mph.

I have a 2010 MDX 6 speed Tech w/ 59k and the original Michelins. Thanks for all the great info from everyone! I see some weather cracking on 2 of them so I am paying close attention to everyone's advice here...

I'd stick with the Michelin Lats....you could consider a slightly wider tire.

The Scorpion Verde you purchased, did you get the H rating or V rating?

Have the Motivo's that I bought from 4 wheel online. Have these tires for 5 months now and have no major problems with them. I don't have any traction issues; the only con I think is that they screech when accelerating.

Continental DWS is great for the first 30-40K miles, after that the last 10K become noiser. I have them on my 3G TL and love them.

I'm hating my Dunlop Sport Signature's right now due to how loud they are getting. Proper alignment and all, I figure I got a bad batch because my last set was nowhere as bad.

The newer iteration of the DWS, the DWS-06 is out now and is supposed to be even better, I wonder if it's in MDX size.

The factory Michelins are a great overall tire for the first 35K. It's not the stickiest tire, not the best performing but does a great job. For the price, there are way superior options.

Just wanted to point out for those that dont already know - dont use silicone based tire dressing on your new/existing tires!! Most tire dressing will cause dry rot! Use anything that is water based.

I have a 2011 & the oem tires look brand new still, i use 303 aerospace protectant(water based dressing with uv protection). Also use it on all the plastic and rubber trim, even on the engine. Expensive but worth it imo.
