Hi all..

Just picked up my 2010 MDX Advanced last week. All in all I like the car, but a little disappointed with the sound quality ( thanks to rear speakers positioned low in rear doors )

Besides that, has anyone else experienced a slight "hiccup" in iPod playback ? Sounds like an MP3 recording click which is like a 1/4 second delay in song ? I know that my music / songs are free from any such defect, so just wondering if anyone else has heard this ?

 

When my ipod played it didn't have that problem. What OS is your iPod running?

The sound system in my 2010 Advance is fantastic........now here is the strange thing.......I had a 2010 Advance as a loaner from the dealer for the 2 weeks it took to get mine in and I can say beyond a doubt that the sound system was not as crisp or clear as mine is now and that is with the settings very similar.

 

My wife is the daily driver of the MDX but I haven't heard her complain about any ipod hiccups.

As far as the stock sound system goes, I don't think you can beat the Acura system.....for stock anyway. I had a mark levinson system in my Lex GS, I have a JBL system in my Tundra Platinum and neither sound half as good as the MDX. We have an advanced with entertainment package so maybe they put a different stereo in that package level but no complaints here.
