This may sound really silly, but my father just picked up his 2009 MDX (after seeing me enjoying my 2009 RDX for the last two weeks) and we can't find the compass.

His package is the Elite (in Canada) and it says in the owners manual that there is a compass, date and time in the 'sub display'. Where is this? I have scrolled through the MID and I cannot find anything the even resembles the picture in the manual.

I have also checked on the Navi - but there is no display as depicted in the owners manual. Am I completely missing something? Where is this elusive compass?

I feel silly even asking - but any help is appreciated.

on the tsx you press the button below the i button (I think it says sel), try that

 

The compass is on the map screen in the top left hand corner. (red triangle)
