This morning I start my mdx up and the check emission light and sh-awd light came on, I’m thinking it might be one of the o2 sensor going bad or bad. Anyone ever experience this issue.

 

So I guess no one have had this issue with there MDX.

 

Very common. Mine does it occasionally.

In my RDX, I think it's the fuel filter.

Go have a scan tool hooked to it and pull the codes, weather they're stored or throwing a light thry should show on a scanner. Auto parts stores usually do this for free.

 

it could be a multitude of things; from a bad battery to the o2 sensor, like you said...

you need to troubleshoot, otherwise no one will know what is wrong with your car...

to troubleshoot; pull the battery's negative cable for a minute to reset the code...if code comes back you know you have a real problem with emissions.
it could even be a clogged EGR valve.

go investigate.

 

Without the codes you are looking at a myriad of possibilities…
SH-AWD disables itself with ANY ECM Code related to Air and Fuel so no need to worry about that just yet.

 

The code I got is P2413, EGR valve. I’m going to try and clean it and see if that’s work. If not then I will replace it.
