the dealer i bought the 2006 MDX from told me that 7500 miles after each major service interval i should have a 7500 mile service at a cost of $200

he also said i should change the oil every 3700 miles or so.

that seems like a lot of maintenance to me:

30,000 miles 30,000 service
33,750 oil change
37,500 7500 mile service
41,250 oil change
45,000 45,000 service
48,750 oil change
52,500 7500 mile service
Etc.....

does this seem like a reasonable schedule to follow?

and does anyone know for sure what is supposed to be included in the 7500 mile service? from reading the manual it looks to me like its just an oil change and a tire rotation

What a load of crap. If you want to go by the books. Check the owners manual for schedules.
