2005 MDX - whine when accelerating
I have noticed a whine while accelerating in my 2005 MDX. It starts 45mph and gets a little louder as I increase speed. If I am going 70mph for instance and take my foot off the gas, the noise goes away. But as soon as I put any pressure on the pedal, it comes back. The more acceleration the louder the noise.
I have about 103K on the vehicle at this point.
I have searched the other posts and found something about bearings, but they seem dissimilar to this issue. I would think that a bearing issue would be constant? Any ideas?

I have the same problem with my 04 MDX with 130K miles. Did a google search and came up with: Final drive gear noice thats normal, center bearing on the rear drive shaft that you can try to quiet down with some white lithium grease. All I know is that the whining noice is anoying for an expensive luxury SUV!
